Insure My Shop - Affiliate Scheme

If you have a shop related website you could earn extra revenue by joining our free affiliate scheme and offering our shop insurance, through a link on your website, to your site’s visitors.

Insuremyshop can provide your site’s visitors with information and advice on the different types of shop insurance that we offer, shop security, as well as being able to get a comparative quotation from 3 of the UK’s leading shop insurance companies.

We can offer you as an affiliate a 10% fee for all sales generated from people clicking through from your site, based on the insurance premium, less IPT (insurance premium tax), for the life of the insurance policy.

The administration of the policy is dealt solely by us and any queries that the client has about cover, so you don’t have to worry about any form of paperwork or awkward questions about cover details as we have a dedicated commercial insurance department who will deal with this.

A banner link with a tracking code so that banners or text links can be placed on your site to pass business through to us. You can then earn a percentage of the policy premium.

Instant access to information

We have a new online system, that you will be able to log onto, so you can monitor how many quotes your site has generated, how many sales this has been converted into and how much money that you have earned. This service is updated in real time, so you can get up to the minute information on how your site is performing.

What about Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations?

According to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) "as long as insurance is incidental to the main business of the website, and no advice is given to the client by you, the affiliate, then you do not have to be regulated to introduce potential customers to our shop insurance".

We are fully authorised and regulated by the FSA and we take responsibility for the legal and compliance matters.

Sales tracking from your website

We will supply you, free of charge, with a text link and a choice of banners, both static and animated. The text link itself will contain a unique identifier that will be linked to your website only.

When your visitors click through to our quotation system the unique code is linked with their quote which, in turn, allows us to identify where it has come from when a policy is purchased.

In addition to our online service we also phone the clients who have quoted, but are yet to purchase a policy. If then after talking to them we manage to sell the policy you will still receive the 10% referral fee.

As our insurance quotes last for 30 days, clients are given a unique quote reference, there is no pressure or need for them to purchase the policy when they get the quote, just as long as they purchase within that 30 day period their quote will still be valid and we will still be able to identify where the business has originated from.
